No, the treatment is gentle and comfortable. Patients usually describe it as a relaxing experience with a slight suction sensation on the skin.  

A Diamond Glow Facial typically takes 30 minutes, making it a great lunchtime treatment with no downtime.  

No downtime! Some patients may experience slight redness immediately after the treatment, but it typically fades within a few hours.  

For best results, it’s recommended to have a treatment every 4 weeks, depending on your skin type and concerns. However, clients with certain conditions do and can benefit from a treatment every 2 weeks 

Yes! The deep exfoliation and extraction can help clear out clogged pores and reduce breakouts, especially when combined with acne-fighting serums.  

It’s best to wait at least 24 hours before applying makeup to allow the skin to fully absorb the benefits of the treatment.  

1. Avoid Retinols & Exfoliants (3-5 Days Before) Stop using retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or any exfoliating products a few days before your treatment to prevent irritation.

2. Skip waxing and harsh treatments - Avoid waxing, laser treatments, or chemical peels at least one week before your facial to prevent excessive sensitivity.

3. Stay hydrated - Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your facial to help your skin stay plump and hydrated.

4. Avoid direct sun exposure - Limit sun exposure and skip tanning beds at least a week before to reduce the risk of irritation. Always wear SPF!

5. Arrive with clean skin -  If possible, come to your appointment with a makeup-free face to allow the treatment to work more effectively.

6. Inform your provider of any skin condition -  Let your provider know if you have rosacea, active acne, or any allergies to ensure the treatment is customized for your skin.

Recommendations would be to have the DiamondGlow procedure First – The exfoliation and suction could potentially disrupt fresh Botox injections if done afterward 

Wait at least 2 days before doing a DiamondGlow Facial to avoid spreading the toxin to unintended areas 

It is best to wait at least one week after a DiamondGlow Facial before getting microneedling or lasert treatments. DiamondGlow facials will exfoliate & hydrate, which makes the skin more sensitive. Microneedling creates tiny micro-injuries to stimulate collagen, and doing it too soon after exfoliation could cause irritation or over-sensitivity. Microneedling or Laser treatments should be spaced apart with either DiamondGlow facial followed by 7 days a laser or microneedling procedure or Microneedling or laser treatment first then 2 weeks a DiamondGlow facial.

If you want both treatments, consider spacing them out with this timeline to maximize their benefits without stressing the skin.  Always consult hte professional to evaluate your personal timeline as everyone's skin is different and heals differently.
